7 blade fan good upgrade?

It's got 3/4" tubes. Says it's good to ~525hp on Champions site. I have a little more than half that, so it should be fine once i change the thermostat to a 180 at least.

did you have to translate the Champion site from Chinese to English? Personally I don't have much faith in companies rating their own product unless they have videos of the product being tested.

While I'm glad the solid 4 blade fan worked out for you, Unless somehow this 4 blade is the single greatest cooling accessory ever devised.

Well, it comes stock on a 260 Olds and we all know how great that is.
Must need the cooling capacity 'cause that's one hot powerplant ya know...…...
I'ma buy up all the 260's I can find, then sell off the fans and retire.

Changing the thermostat to one that opens at a lower temp is only a band aid. If the radiator & fan aren't capable of exchanging the heat it will still run hot, all the lower temp thermo does is opens sooner, the rest is up to the radiator.

It doesn't. It just hangs out at 210/215 with the 195, 229v6 5 blade, two year old clutch, and new rad.

I said it hangs out at about 210/215. Idk whatever halfway between 190 and 230 is. My gauge goes 190 I 230.

even with a new rad likes to creep up in temp at a stop. take off, it goes down again.
