Looking good. I miss my El Caminos sometimes. keep the pics coming, you are getting more done right now that I am, lol. The holidays and side work have slowed me down a bit.

Thanks guys..
nah, I only look motivated at the moment because Im trying to get every thing appart and shotblasted before the long weekend... That and you have to move faster in the cold to stay warm! 😀

Good call on the spacers, lucky for me my car came with a rear sway bar so you can see the stock ones on the ground to the right of the milk crate. Ill clean them up and tack weld them into place before boxing the arms...

I did see the stock swaybar spacers on the ground. What cold part of country are you? It's chilly here today, and I'm in northern Fla. The garage stayed a little warm, though...

It looks like your gettin' it done...stay warm.

Before I boxed my lowers, I tacked the spacers in place also.

Ghoul, I hear you on staying busy to stay warm, lol

Jack, it is cold here too, (SE PA).

Im in south east Michigan.
I should be used to this crap (cold) by now having lived here all my life, but this is the first year I work in a climate controlled lab rather than a shop with a few working heaters, and I had shoulder surgery at the beginning of october. The shoulder now lets me know its wet and or cold outside before I ever step foot out of the house... its going to take some getting used to. I shouldnt complain too much, in the fore ground of my hover ekly picture you can see the 10,000 btu radiant heat garage warmer.... 😀

I too have spend most of my working life in the elements, so i am kinda used to it. I get a little antsy when I have to fly the desk indoors, lol.

they keep we well supplied with 'mad scientist' sh*t to help supress the antsy feelings! LOL
But yeah, youd be suprised how quickly you lose your adaptation to the cold

Ghoul,
Glad to hear that your garage is equipped with a sufficient heater. I'm sure it gets bitterly cold in your neck of the woods. Sounds like your body has a built in weather barometer...namely your shoulder. That sucks, but it's something that you have no choice but to deal with.
I've been out of (NY) a cold climate for 23 yrs. There's no going back for me. When it gets down to the 50's here, I'm shivering.
Yeah, I know, I sound like a real p*ssy, but I guess you can say I'm acclimated to the climate down here.
We were recently up in Minnesota to visit family and the AM's were in the 20's. Not my cup o' tea.

*Sorry guys, I didn't mean to sound like I'm rubbing it in your faces.*

What shape was your Edsel in and what body style?

Jack, I have been to Hurlburt field, Eglin and Macdill AFB's. all in different times of the year. The winters are nice, the summers, not so much, lol.

Ill take hot over cold any time thank you!
but I guess its all what you get used to. I just had a real hard time adjusting this year. dont know if it was the shoulder or just getting old.
Ill post up some pics of the edsel, my ratrod and some other stuff you guys might find intresting. The kid that traded me definetly got a heck of a deal. the edsel looked nice from a distance but you could tell the paint job was getting old and there was alot of bondo on it, ran great and intirror was a little scummy but nothing the wife wouldnt get it with a fancy dress on..
