I also scraped my old springs and shocks. They are 20+ yrs old,1 was bent sideways (not sure we installed correctly back in the day), my shocks were also old.

I ordered QA1 coilovers as it seemed a better use of my money compared to buying standard shock and springs.

UCAs, taller ball joints, Blazer Spindles, QA1 coilovers.

UCAs are touching my frame and I'm less than thrilled. With that the car is bare (interior, dashboard, front clip, motor, trans) so I guess it is what it is.

I need to buy a good wrench for my control arms. I'm going to adjust them back and forth to see if I can't a way to get it off the frame.

Happy about this. Had to chain jack to fresh frame paint to mount COAs bc the car was lifting off my bush league HF jack stands (bye Felisha!).

Black lung nuts. Not sure if I did them.

Going to reach out to body shop next week. Depending on that conversation, next steps.

Need to buy sheilding gas and practice for my floor plans.

Excited to get bigger brakes installed.

Tick took, tick tok

Downhill?

Drop the girl off at the Body Shop yesterday!

Getting the ttops and floorboards fixed as a priority, it might get the full paint before it leaves.

Big day for me after 22 yrs!

Yeah, I stopped in last Wednesday. I can get some pics and will post. A pillar and ttop header is in. Long timeline to finish but I refuse to be pushy as I'm just happy someone is willing to work on it.
He said it won't be done until July.

I told the guy when he took it I wasn't going to rush as I understood bumper cover repairs pay the bills.
