Thanks man that means alot! I scrubbed on that thing for like 2 weeks straight. And used wd40 and a brass wire brush to scrub the heads and they cleaned up really good too. And for the polished part of the heads I wet sanded with 3000 and buffed it lol

Awesome thread, I'm definitely subscribing and keeping up to date on it.

I REALLY want to drop a 5.3 into my wagon, so this thread is super inspiring. Keep up the great work! The motor is gorgeous.

I'll do the best I can on the engine bay I dont know if it will look as good as the motor but il do my best and keep you guys updated

They should. To be honest I'm not sure why people have header issues with LS swaps in gbodys. The frame widens out so much before the firewall in these cars it's ridiculous. The only issue I could see is the steering shaft might not clear headers with certain motor mounts.(which is why I think I'll just fab my own mounts.) By the way nice job polishing the heads and cleaning the block. Looks great.

Hey guys i went out and bought a new starter for this thing and i was wondering if i had to put a shim on it like the old 350s? The flywheel will be new also
