Perfect! Thanks.
I love the car and it is a rare one, 232 made I think. Unfortunately rare does not always mean valuable, one recently sold on eBay for around 1500. I've told the story before I had one that didn't look to bad on the outside but was rusted beyond repair. I wound up stripping the car and junking it.

the tach would be where the green circle is and the oil, water, battery, gas gauges would be in the red circle. If there are no gauges except for the fuel there would be warning lights and the tack would probably be a clock.

Yes it does have the rally gauge package. Here is a picture of the list from the dealer sheet. 20170725_191359.jpg

I'm going to get underneath of it soon and take pictures of the rails and floorboards. I've seen my fair share of rusted out cars. That's a shame about yours. I had one recently that received the same treatment. Hated doing it, but there was no choice.

I hope you don't find any rust and the car has a happier ending than mine. Good luck

Well, what was the end result on this car. No underneath or engine pics. What did the car end up selling for?

This thread died didn't it? I am building a 5 spd 78 SJ right now. Id love to have a factory 4 spd car too

Sorry for never replying to anyone earlier. My father-in-law sold the car a few months back. I'm not sure what he got for it, so I'm not able to give any information on that. Who knows...maybe it will be posted back on this forum when the new owner has questions or wants to sell it again. Best of luck to all of you with your cars.
