Can someone tell me where the fuel wire runs between the dash and fuel tank? Does it run thru the frame or thru the body somewhere?

the wiring from the rear of the car runs along the left frame rail and into the storage comparment behind the seats/under the bed etc.it's on the left side towards the back.

This may sound stupid but is it the same color wire all the way from the dash to the tank?

Check the ground for the tank and sender.
