Some how I have missed this thread? Even though the air bags may not be my cup of tea. I really enjoy seeing someone doing something different to a car and trying stuff. You have taken a lot of brave steps. I will stay tuned to see what you do next. Keep up the good work!

Next project is to get the new doors with power windows installed, just collecting parts for them , have the hinge rebuild kits from Mike's montes just need to get the weather strips, and some relays for the windows..

A few more updates.
Removed the inner fenders completely, relocated charcoal canister between the header panel and core support, relocated the battery to the trunck, filled in the front side markers, and a whole bunch of body work , I didn't even know it needed, I guess my grandmother had a few more accidents she didn't let me know about. Also rebuilt the lower hinges and replaced the uppers, now my doors actually shut and open like they should.

Still have to figure out how to mount the rear seats.
And transfer the power windows from a spare set of doors i have into my doors
