am i correct that you're running a bump steer kit?if so i was wondering how you plan on measuring it?not the length per say but the angles etc to utilize it all.looking sharp Tony.
Thank you... Yes I've done it before as far as getting the angle correct. UMI has instructions. I can't remember exactly what I did on my TransAm but it wasn't too hard. I have a bunch of different sized spacers that came with the kit. I'll try to document it in the future.
On edit I do remember that you are trying to get the tie rod ends to stay parallel with the lower control arm through its entire length of travel
thanks,i knew it was something like that,the sc&c book kinda danced around that idea but never came out and said it directly.that and i haven't talked to anyone that had actually done it before.
Measuring the angles with the bumpsteer kit can get you close, but the best way to optimize the kit is to remove the springs and measure the toe through the range of useable travel.

Good question. If they are I can swap side to side. Guess I'll have to research where the tread pattern should be.
It'll have an arrow on the sidewall if they're directional- easy peasy (just a pet peeve of mine)
