Man I glad I did all my test fitting without the transmission attached. Was a good fight to get that bad boy in there with the trans attached. Holley does recommend installing the motor and then putting the trans in from below. Can be done from from top with a wrestle.

It's a battle. Looks like you had help which is good. Doing it alone is really fun.

Having a 2nd person was the key. My engine hoist was just a tad too short and we had to "push" the motor in place

I've never done both at the same time. Too much hassle, Probably because I use a chain hoist, not a cherry picker.

Just not a fan lifting the trans in from the bottom and fishing the bell housing bolts in.

Little junkyard run this morning and scored some parts for the Nash. Intrepid radiator fans, ASTRO steering shaft, LS ac compressor, and a short ram intake. Good haul

Some new parts have arrived for the build. Went with a trick Performance turbo cast manifold with a v band precision 46mm wastegate.

vband waste gate will give more flexibility on the angle to blend it too the downpipe.

Does anyone offer this style manifold for a set of twins (no crossover)?
