Hooked up my lingenfelter 2 step tonight.

It's fun and shoots flames out the exhaust in low gear shifts and makes pop sounds :p
It's also even more useless in the spin dept. in low gear. Being able to do no lift sh*ts is SUPER helpful and makes shifting much nicer and i bet its better on the drivetrain not loading and unloading so hard.

It's great just hitting the clutch and throwing the shifter and not having to play with the throttle.

Super easy to hook up too. Took more time fishing the single ground wire to the clutch pedal and building the bracket to mount the clutch switch to the pedal than anything else. Literally just 1 wire hookup and in between the coil wiring on both sides.

I'm excited to take it to the track again and see how it does!

Minor update-

Wednesday I finally replaced the inner window sweep on the drivers side and put the door weatherstrip in. I changed the outer window sweep when I first got the car running 2 years ago and the inners looked OK. About 2 days after I changed the outer the inner evaporated and I have been driving without one since. Had to pull the door panel to get the door seal in place so thought why not.

The passenger door seal was in great shape but the drivers was missing when i bought the car due to the previous owner being a total hack and the pins being worn out and the door sagging real bad. Was going to scrounge a seal from a junk yard since i only needed one but bought a new one since the set was only 50 bucks. Ended up going with a metro set since thats the window roof seal brand I have and I am mostly satisfied. Door is a bit tougher to close than before.

I also sent a drawing over to a blower pulley guy to have him make me a smaller blower pulley. I would probably be able to make my own pulley on my lathe but I have bought a few pulleys from him in the past and I like the work he does so for once I am going to outsource this one! I lost 3psi or so of boost pressure when I went with the cam and now that my IAT's are under control with the intercooler I think I can handle more than 6-7 PSI :)

Got a chance to run to one of the yards after work today.

Grabbed a rear sway bar off a 97 2dr 4wd blazer. They mount facing backwards but if you flip them upside down and point them forward they are a nice 1" diameter bar that mounts to the frame.

Got lucky and not only was it removed, it was sitting in the back seat of the blazer that is in the "crush" pile. Wohoo! $25 and it's in my hands. Another week and it would have been a block the size of a fridge.

I just test fit it loose under my stock f41 rear bar. I am missing the straps for the bushings and some end links. Once I get those I should have it installed in half an hr or so.

It's not centered since its just propped up and hammed in place, but the end link points sit pretty much in the perfect spot between the 3" exhuast, frame, and control arms.

Well my swaybar clamps showed up. I din't get them when I bought the bar because they probably got lost in the car somewhere. Thought no biggy I can get those online anywhere. Not so much. Had some spare clamps from when i changed front bar to the 3rd gen one but they were 1/4 too wide and the bushing wouldn't fit.

Found the GM number and rock auto didn't stock them. Typed it in ebay and there was a few ranging from $6-$30 each and when I tried adding the cheap ones to my cart, it charged $9 shipping each so it ended up being over $30 for some little clamps.

Found some ford dealer of all places that had them for around $20 shipped for the pair. Ordered those and got an email that said it would drop ship from another warehouse with a delivery date in a few weeks. Well crap.

Got home last night and they were on my steps. They shipped from some sub warehouse for NOS parts out of wisconsin only a few hours away. Odd that logistics works that way.

Anyways I sanded the blazer bar, cleaned up the bolts and painted black over the epoxy primed axle clamps that I got off my zr2 rear which held the panhard bar on when I stripped it down and shot some paint on the parts. Had enough swaybar endlink bushings laying around and i just need to pick up some bolts in the right length.
