26 stock Vs 30 spline moser, hopefully next week I will get back to the 2+2 axle now that the wagon is running like it should.

Yeah, but compared to 350lb'ers and a 1 1/8" on a factory G setup, it would be considered heavier/ big bar, stiff spring......
Project tonight- Find a way to put 4wd blazer disks on the G body axle end.
Starting with
4wd zr2 S10 caliper brackets, backing plates and calipers (calipers are the same as 2wd)
2wd rotors
2wd dust shields
80 7.5 out of the wagon
Lets go!
2wd dust shield on 4wd backing plate, the holes dont line up on a 2WD vs 4WD backing plate, i used the small #10 screw up top to align everything as a "home" point
When it is aligned, the caliper bracket is slightly off-kilter from the opening for the dust shield and the bracket hits the shield
But i just trimmed an inch off
Transfer punch to set the location for the holes
These two holes have half inch stamped pilots that locate the backing plate to the dust shield
Drilled to 27/64 ( I think) and counter bored to 1/2"
Holes are drilled
Kinda swiss cheese
Drilled the bottom holes out and put in bolts,
Basically cut the top of the plate off following the circle edge
Bam!
And its on! I need to buy new slider pins since mine are bent, but otherwise it looks like the 2wd setup does but you can actually get the parts in northern climates.
Only negative here is the e-brake bracket now points backwards because i ended up running the left backing plate on the right side and the right dust shield on the right side, but it works out in the end. You will see my plan for that soon.

I assume you are correcting the width back to stock G body? I guess that's what the measurement pics were a few posts back.....
Yep, going back to stock width.
I am happy with my "wide" zr2 width rear I had in the car the last almost 2 years but I settled on the year one rallys for my wheels and they only come in 4-5" BS and I needed 7 to make the zr2 rear to work.
Plus I had this idea of swapping tubes and wanted to give it a shot. 4th gen F body guys have done it with swapping 7.5 tubes onto an 8.8 housing with the "hiltsy" laser cut torque arm mount and butt welding the tubes to the housing. I looked at the 8.6 and realized I could just turn the OD of the 7.5" tubes and slip fit it into the 8.6 housing, throw my plate on, install 30 spline moser axles, reuse the zr2 brakes, and be in business.

Ordered the pair of 17x9 Y1 ralleys for the back.
Eff those inflated in price from when I got the fronts before the new year. Tax AND another $30 a wheel. Ended up spending like an extra $90 over the fronts for the pair. My Jegs $50 off $500 purchase basically covered the tax and small bit of the price increase over the last 4 months. Fawk,
