No that's the turn signal switch. Here is the dimmer switch....

On Rock Auto search "Dimmer Switch" after you put in your car's information.

That should be adjustment of the dimmer switch (it slides on it's mounting "ears". Check out the youtube video earlier in this post if you are not familiar with it.

I hadn't yet watched that video until now. Hmm. Maybe my arm is just right on the fringe where it is long enough in the lower position but not in the upper position. I'll have to check it out... sometime. 😉

Yea I tested the wires I can see and the seem good
And somebody told me they have a wire by the starter and if it's bad it should be soft

Yea power is going to the switch when I pull out the light switch it even make the headlight noise . I use a Hotwire to make sure my headlight wasn't bad and they was working

with the diagram I posted in your thread it's not hard to trace the wires from the switch

My car originally was a v6 but the owner before me swap it and put a v8
I think he cut a few wires

what wires did he cut?. the wiring for the headlights in a V6 is the same as a V8
