I've seen the pics haha. Made me want to do mine!
Nothing but boring *ss sanding lol! I just keep telling myself that in the end it will be worth it! So far the results have been very satisfying which helps to ease the blow of all the hours of prepwork.

I'm actually outside right now sanding my front turn signals in prep to repaint them! 20170710_233542.jpg

Had some trouble finding a shop that would work with the 36 spline yoke for the 6L90. Did end finding a local shop; Midwest Driveshaft. Went with an aluminum 3.5" shaft, 4L90/6L90 yoke, and standard GM 3R rear yoke for the 8.5" 10-bolt.

Also started laying out the harness so I can start identifying connectors.

Got the fuel system in order. I had a supply/return fuel system from the Holley Stealthram I had previously. Removed the return line and went with the return-less system using the "Corvette" fuel filter (LS universal fuel filter kit from Summit) single feed to the Vortec fuel rail.

Installed the water pump and truck Power steering pump to the original gbody lines. The fitting from the original gbody PS pump screwed right in. Still have to figure out what to do about the 3rd PS line. Must have been from a hydro-boost set-up?

Rear bumper studs, speed-nuts did not come off very happily when I removed the bumper so I drilled out what was left and improvised.

Little by little the project continues. Getting things snugged down in the engine bay. Mostly situated the engine harness

Getting into and cleaning up the wiring. A bit intimidating at first but I'm taking it slow, tracing, eliminating some old, andadding some new.

Mostly eliminated the Racetronix Hotwire Kit that I had installed as it became redundant.

Fabbed up a mount out of an old retail display fixture for the ECM, power distribution, and fuse block. Mounted behind the glove box.
