Yes, stock housing with a 3.42 posi and Moser 28 spline axles.

There used to be a place call Tom's Kick *ss axles, but, not sure if it's still around that offered 28 spline axles.

The spot where the 26 spline axles necks down is normally where they fail/break.

The only issue I had was after 4 years of drag race abuse my stock, used Camaro posi broke...just replaced it with another used one...

thanks for the reassurance, mind me asking what you were pushing for hp what trans you had

11.0s 10.70s in a full body Malibu

6 inch rod 350 with Dart heads and a solid roller on 28x9 slicks

I have done sever using the GM Torrison posi and after market axels (28 spline). Added a braced cover for the back and never had a problem. Once you get below 1.6 in the 60 foot you might want to upgrade the rear end. Untill then no problems that I have incountered.

really like the helpful info you guys give out. this is my first regal with 400+ hp really like the car . may make a run down the strip once and awhile but more just a street car. adding traction bars and running a 255/60/15 series bfgs.

Body bushings.

The bars that tie the upper and lower control arm mounts together, triangulation bars, help quite a bit.

Purchased a Detroit Locker, bearing caps and a pair of 28 spline KA axles to run in my 79 Monte Carlo from Toms Differentials. After 7 years and 2 sets of Mickey Thompson ET Streets this set up is still going strong.
Toms is still in business! Great people to deal with!
