BUILD THREAD A LIGHTLY toasted 1979 Buick Turbo Century

I have been working on my 55 Belair most of the summer. I even got some time in on my 84 Honda Interceptor. My new job is a 30 minute highway drive and my 87 GMC square body gets crappy fuel mileage. I'm thinking about dragging the Century back under the car port for some action. May do a roadkill style driver for now. Going to take several weekends but by then I can afford some engine components for the overhaul. Fuel mileage between the two may not be much but don't care. Hopefully it doesn't f*&%ing rain all weekend. If I do get to work on it, I'll post some videos

what about just picking up a standard 6 cyl for the roadkill build (for fuel economy, and they're cheap and plentiful), and build the turbo engine the right way without having rush it's buildup?

I'll be watching... Here's my new project we talked about. I've been hush hush about it, but i'm driving to Arizona in the morning to pick it up, so I think it's safe to say... It's mine! Once I get it home I will post a new thread on it. It will have to sit for a short time until car show season is over, and I can sell some of my parts stash. I'm not sure what direction I'm going with it, but I had to secure it, as it was just to straight, and too cheap to pass up. Driven daily, rust free, 70k miles... whaaa??

Not really rushing

Last night on ebay, I scored a NOS in box shift knob for the column shifter lever. Mine is cracked. I had the link bookmarked and it was $45. When I checked last night it was relisted at $22.

Have been watching the youtube vids, enjoy seeing all the projects, REALLY enjoy when you post here. i watch the YT on my TV, so no way to comment on them without using the slow computer, but interested to see what happens next

30 minute drive....I'm just over halfway to work in 30 mins.
