Side Question: Where do you order your Datsun parts? I have a '79 p/u growing moss, ferns, and rust, in my driveway.
It has not moved since early 2004. I have to knock out a few wasp nests each year, and amazingly though, the tires still hold air.

With caps... It adds to the sleeper look and i hate black wheels.
Roger that. It's tough to tell in the pics but the wheels are a dark metallic green with a gold flake that pops off the body color. It's a Kia color called Tuscan Olive. They do look black unless you see them in the sun.
Yes, King Cab, front disc brakes, L20 engine, but only 4spd trans.
It's rough, but it's all there.
Just about every other year, somebody leaves a note asking if I would sell it. Those notes go into my circular file. I would like to get it running again. It was my daily driver (replacing my '74 Ford Pinto, which I also want to get running),
from mid 1996 until I got the Caballero in late 2001. Whenever I ask about which engine transplant is simplest, I am told Ka24. Just haven't done anything yet.
When I was in a position to upgrade and/or rebuild a vehicle 2-1/2 years ago, I began upgrading the Caballero first and got hooked by how easy parts availability was for it.
The interior looks great. I also agree on the poverty caps. Brings back memories of sitting on white vinyl for me. I also remember how terrible Mom was at driving a 3 spd standard. It was the only brand new car my parents ever bought.
