I still miss the Olds 350 running the stock sbc TBI in my burned to the ground 94 Chevy 4x4. The Northstar and the little 3.4 Taurus SHO V8's were something different but both had issues. To bad Cadillac's new V-8 was scrapped, probably would have been killer. Compare the Ford 5.0 to the new 5.3, sorry the DOHC platform just makes more power. As far as G bodies, I keep mine SBO powered and mine will be powered by a 403 stroker eventually.

Sickest swap ive personally seen was a Chrysler 360 in a 59 El Camino, Also have seen a 68 Pontiac 400 swapped into a 84 Firebird lol

I talk to a former member from here from time to time, and gave he gave me an idea... he told me about a guy running a turbo'd 3900 v-6 from an impala, in a gen 4 camaro, and turning low 10's in the quarter.... can't remember what trans he said the guy was running though...

I guy I know swapped a Northstar into a Fiero.

Buick 455 into a late 3rd gen Firebird running a 700r4.
SBC in a Fox body Mustang( I did this one in a '79)
SBC in Volvo's and Jags
Worked for a guy that had an '84 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 that had an Olds 403 in it. It was originally a 6.2L diesel.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away, I saw a Chevy Vega with a stroked SBC (383) at the track. That was a fast car!
