same as my love for G-body cars... growing up in NYC/NJ I was exposed to these cars BIGGG when I was young, everyone in the neighborhood had them, in fact my father had some garages that people rented where the guy had 2 , 5th gen coupe devilles, he also had another like 8 cars at various garages.

I really want to scoop one up when I am done building my Monte. the cool thing about these cars is most 4th and 5th gen and even the 3rd gens can be found for 5-6k in pretty good condition, you find one that looks like the day it left the showroom and it will run you about 12-15k but IMO they will never make a car nicer than they did back then.

now as far as motors... in 81 the motor was garbage 4-6-8 but u drive it until it blows and then u swap a 6.0 LQ motor in, you can even rock the escalade engine cover that says cadillac

The 71-72Coupe Deville coupes were beautiful cars. The 73-74 Fleetwood Talisman with it's 4 bucket seats and consoles front and rear were total luxury. Hated Devilles in 77-79 but in 80 the Fleetwood was nice again, even a 2-dr,

Love them. I'm sure everybody recognizes this particular Cadillac.
