It must be a mustang thing, google it and you'll find videos about cammed out mustangs but I still don't know what the term means...so I guess I'll join your club... :|

Well I'd start by asking the kid if he knows it's called a cam shaft. To me "cammed out" sounds like the new "it's got a cam." Could also just be new slang so it sounds cooler to talk about.

It may have been stated before....but the two words "Thank You" have been lost to the void. Nowadays...most people who call me at work dont say anything when they're done talking...they just hang up and you find yourself still talking and nobody's on the phone! And the words "ok" and "alright" are all people seem to say anymore to end a conversation.....pathetic....

I agree with this 100%, people have no etiquette anymore.

Call Canada sometime. Its hard to get the message across sometimes from all the apologizing and thanking.

Kinda similar to the thank you thing but the over use of people saying "sorry" and using "love". I find those to words get thrown around so much they have lost all meaning pretty much. I also noticed that people often use them but fail to use actions to prove their words.

what bugs me the most is just people who claim to know soooo much about cars, then you ask them a question and theyre completely full of sh*t. a guy i work with was talking about his buddies "all original numbers matching 62 bubble top chevy". i asked him what it had in it. 350. i just walked away shaking my head.

^^^ ^^^

I did some work on a former neighbor guy's salmon colored Ford Probe. When he came to pick it up he went into this long story about how he was so fortunate to have such a historically special car. According to him, he got it from a race team that would buy a new Probe every year, gut it, convert it to RWD/V8, install a full cage, upgrade all the suspension, paint it and race it for just one season. Then, at the end of the season they would undo everything and return it back to showroom stock. Then trade it in on a new one and start the cycle all over again.
I don't know if someone actually told him that and he believed it, or he made it up himself and was trying to impress me with his car prowess so I wasn't sure whether to feel sorry for him or be offended. Either way -- he's a dumbass.

He probably made that up unless whoever sold it to him claimed to be on a "race team." If that's the case then he really got played.
