People who don't say thank you. It's free, not that much work and completely painless.

This is so true. I work for the local county, Parks and Recreation Division at the county-operated ice rink. Probably half of my day is handing out rental skates and working register, and I seriously can't believe how many people cannot make out a simple "thanks". It really agitates me. Oh, the faith I have lost in society.

I agree about people not exercising the common courtesy of a "thank you". Especially when sending pics to someone, getting a shipping quote for parts, etc. and not even receiving an acknowledgement.

Another thing that irks me, people make one post(their first) trying to sell their junk. No introduction, no other posts. Many sites don't even allow placing ads until they have X number of posts first. I think that's fair.

Calling it a "roller motor" because it has a set of $89 roller tipped stamped rockers on it.

then mine must be a double roller....

one thing that irks me is the ones who post about a problem then never cone back to say what the fix was or a thank you......then there's the ones who want to be spoon fed the answer

Yup. Thread conclusion has always been a big one for me. It's pretty frustrating when you do a search for something only to find 20 threads where people had the same issue but never came back to say what the resolution was. Makes the entire exercise a waste of time for everyone involved. No one learns a thing.

Absolutely! Let us know what worked and what didn't!

Yeah, I hate that too. Or when the thread ender just says "fixed".

Some universal truths that other techs will understand...
-If the fuel pump needs to be replaced, the tank will be completely full.
-If a van needs the engine cover removed, there is a CB, nav system, 4 chargers, a clipboard and a trash can screwed/wired to it.
-Only lifted 4x4s with a winch on the bumper develop bad water pumps.
-Heater cores with access panels never leak. Only the ones that require dash removal do. Even more frequently if there's a console too.
-If your schedule has 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 waiter LOFs, one will be late - one on time - and the other will be early.
-The one time you forget to roll the window down, the security system will self-arm and lock the keys in the car.
-Your body aches every day but you only really hurt yourself the day before a vacation.
