Cats or no cats?

Just curious how many of you still run catalytic converters on your G-bodies. For those of you outside California and other states with strict smog laws, it's probably an easy decision, but for those of us living in Peoples' Republics, it's "living dangerously" to go cat-less. Also, what engines do you have?

here in Ontario we have to keep the all the components of the emission system that came with the car. It has nothing to do with tree hugging but I run 2 magniflow SS spun cats so I don't get hit with a $385 fine. The magniflow spun cats come in a 49 state or a California complying cat. These cats were developed for circle track cars where the track mandated cats on the cars so they have very good flow

Downpipes and 8" cherries are all I run.

And it may be because my car is a Limited, but there is NO drone at all. Like none. And it's almost dead quiet on the inside too at 70mph/2500rpm. On the outside, not so much. lol

in Ontario my car has no formal inspections but the enforcement officers can pull you over at any time for any reason and tell you to open the hood. I have been pulled over 3 times in my GP and once in my winter Pathfinder, he wanted to make sure I didn't modify the engine...

and so there is no confusion that is Ontario Canada, not Ontario California...

On my turbo regal, I have a Cat/test pipe I can swap out in 10 minutes when I go to the track, because turbo cars are always faster without a cat.

I normally run cats on my cars because otherwise everything smells like unburned gas.

Here in Nova Scotia Canada we have a yearly vehicle inspection,but no emissions testing.

I guess were lucky in ct. No emissions or inspections with classic car plates.

No cats on the 565 and not even sure if they make them big enough.
