Even if I lived outside of CA, I'd probably still run cats if it didn't sacrifice performance too much. The one time I rode in a newer-model car with the cats removed, I nearly passed out from the fumes. For that reason alone, I think I'd run them.

I've seen you post this before. That's straight ridiculous that they have the right to pull you over because they feel like it and inspect your car. That would never fly in NY. It would be proven to be obvious discrimination.
