So, what's the current status with this project? I couldn't seem to locate an official build thread for your car.

Dude was told to make one from day one when he started a dozen threads seeing what ideas were possible... then nada, just a new thread with a new idea every other week.

Ribbing aside, I'm curious about the build. Looks like he was logged in a few days ago, so still around.

i hope he's still around.
here's my $.02. if you want a unique ride that draws attention, look in the mirror, you have it. you made in a magazine! there's nothing more you need to do. there is no engine swap that hasn't been done. thanks jay leno, jet engine bike and car, tank engine car, p51 engine car, twin turbo big block tornado, etc.

with that being said, if you want to do a smog legal upgrade with twice the power, i would look into the lt1 engines from '94-'95. grab one from a caprice, roadster, or fleetwood. direct bolt in, uses sbc motor mounts, factory exh manifolds, true dual or y pipe exhaust, 4 speed auto, charcoal canister friendly, no emission specific fuel tank, p/s lines from donor hook up to steering gear, run a f body radiator and fans and your done. 260 hp, wallet friendly 87 octane gas, and enough power (ya i know i did say it) to make you go to confession.

I noticed he isn't as active on here either, hopefully some of the replies didn't scare him away 🤔😆 . I also hope he's still around and shares the build.

I'd like to see where this went as well. I really hope he didn't go through on the 4.1 build. What a waste of time and money.

Wrecked F-bodies are everywhere. Buy an LT1/LS1 with the 4L60e and be done with it. Who cares that it doesn't look "stock" under the hood. I would never sacrifice making my car more fun for such a petty reason.
