Corvette Brake Conversion

Thanks Fellas! 64nailhead what bracket did you use to mount the calipers? I have junkyard 96 S10 spindles on the car already.
That is not the same spindle as the blazer. I'm not sure that the calipers are interchangeable with the Blazer 2wd brake swindle. Perhaps spmeone else can chime in. But I do not believe you're going to put a C5 rotor on an S10 spindle.

Sorry they are off a 96 blazer

The ‘Blazer conversion’ knuckles use a bolt-on packaged hub/bearing assembly - there is no ‘spindle’.

This was the only image I could find. I keep calling them spindles this is what I am referring to, sorry for any confusion. I believed them to be off of a 96 Blazer, but after looking at some images of Blazers I am pretty sure they came off a later model due to the body style of the truck I pulled them from. Was sometime last year dont remember exactly.

Talking with an other member they mention they are running CPP spindles. They are direct replacement g-body spindles that accept the Corvette sealed hubs and setup for the Corvette abutment caliper brackets. I will weigh this option as well. I have come across a ton of good information the last couple days regarding this topic. I am still a ways from needing brakes, but its awesome knowing what options I have upgrading to Vette brakes!

Those are 98-05 2wd Blazer spindles. Those are what you want. You need an aftermarket caliper bracket set, C5 or C6 calipers, pads, rotors. BAM - you be stoppin'!

I just had my brackets made at a machine shop. Probably even could have done it myself. Thanks to kore racing for this

My 17's JUST fit. Some do, some don't. Most wheel manufacturers can tell you the inside diameter of their wheel. Kore racing's website has info on the minimum diameter for a few brake conversions.
