That's what I'm thinking. Good ol' AutoZone piece. 😀1979Calais said:That looks crazy, maybe it was a defected belt.
I had no problems putting it in. Took it down today to fix a leak and reinstall my Walbro 255, and went back in with no problems. Other than the 3/4 tank of fuel sloshing around while trying to strap it back in.Da Reazon said:The grand national tank bolted right in no mods? I have read it won't work because the filler neck is different. What is your take on this?
Got the size M. Held up to the rain pretty well. I had to cut out the antenna, which I didn't do a good job at. If my antenna went all the way down I would've done a better job at it. Oh well, I'll live with it for now. I will probably order the pipes next week, so I guess no welding this weekend. Might do a little more tuning tho. Plus, I have been working on another bodywork project. Hay, gotta find something to do when stuck in the house with all this rain. 😀1979Calais said:What size cover did you get and did it hold up to the rain? Looks like the weekend is going to be nice, so you may be able to install your exhaust if you get you pipes by then.
The other engine in the background is the 350 I had in the cutlass before I put the 406 in. Know someone who wants one? I painted the bezels for the louvers this weekend. Just waiting for the speed nuts to get delivered so I can put it all together.1979Calais said:I can't wait to see your hood once it is finished, also is that engine for your other car? I tried of being in the house also, so I had my father in-law to leave his landscaping trailer at my house so I can take it apart and make it look good again. I just need something to do since my car is not ready.
