All depends on the hp that you are trying to achieve. I needed the 42#s because of the turbo. They have injector size calculators on the internet. I googled a couple and they all came up with the 42#s for my application. NA, I was good with the 24#s. Your LT1 didn't come with injectors?

Yes, my engine has them already. I am just asking, because I may try to get about 400-450 hp.

30#s are good for what your going for and can take you higher with the right FP. The LT1 I built is running 42#s also, mainly because it gets to 6500 rpm routinely. It don't like idling and hates driving under 2500 rpm.

Sweet!!! That turbo does sound killer. Good work!

Thanks.

Got lucky on Craigslist tonight and came across this, for CHEAP...Wasn't planning on using an intercooler right now, but I had to get it for future boost increases. 😀

Jetsetw31, did you get the ecm tuned for the 42#s? With the right tune, you can use any size injectors. You just have to dial them in along the fuel tables. That way you don't have to keep buying bigger injectors as your hp levels increase, just re-tune.

Yes I did get it tuned. The fuel map is on the rich side for high rpm use. Before the exhaust was done it sounded like a pro stocker. 8)
I got a request to build another LT1 but, I don't know what, where, or how he wants it yet. Or if he even can afford to have it at that level. If or when he gets back to me I'll share the build on here minus a few details of course.

^^^THANKS^^^

Took her for her maiden voyage out of the neighborhood today. I previously only took it around the block a few times each trip, while tuning. She ran great. AFR's were on point and boost came on strong and smooth. Super torquey. All the gauges worked perfect and everything went smooth until... Luckily I didn't go too far. 😀
