If all GM divisions used the same design, I'd say this is a poor substitute.

that stuff requires drilling holes in your doors and that in my book is a no no. it causes rust too. i just pulled a pair of doors with that crap on them and now i have to go in and fill in all of the drilled holes.

where do you live, i know of a few cars around here with that trim that are just sitting (including mine)
it may be pricey to ship...not because of weight, but odd size

The OEM stuff for that application was a stick on piece that requires no holes to be drilled. It's called a ding strip and should be available at a auto body supply shop. I do not like them as I feel they break up the lines of the car, but to each their own.

Thanks right, I like them because it is a good line, instead of an entry-level slab side.
