Hahahaha. LS Swap😂🤣
I bought the edelbrock 750...1411. SHOULD be a direct swap without needing any mods to make it work. Going from a 1406 edelbrock 600 to a 1411 edelbrock 750 😎

oh oh...I better stock up on popcorn.....

before you install the carb put your numbers in the calculator and see what it comes up with

That doesn't sound right. Says I need 580 cfm 😂🤣 I've had other calculators say I need 6,7 or even 800cfm. Previous owner had a 750 edelbrock on the car and said it ran awesome.

Dont listen to anyone that tells you to wire up your choke to the distributor.
 the pink wire at the HEI is ignition on. Why wouldn't you be able to use it? Follow up question: why do you need an oil pressure switch on the choke? You need the choke closed during cold start up, so waiting for oil pressure seems unnecessary to me. Oil safety switches are for shutting down fuel pump if the engine goes.

It's just not the proper way to do it. And the oil pressure switch is one of the proper ways to do it. It's one of the ways the factory did it. it ensures there will only ever be power supplied to the choke if there is 4+psi of oil pressure. simple, clean, plus that's how my car came from the factory and all the wiring was already there.

Why is it not the proper way to wire it?....the oil switch prevents power going to the choke when the engine is not running so the choke is closed when you start the engine. As long as the choke is wired so it is hot when the engine is in running like it is in my GP it works properly. If nothing is proper unless it is how the factory did it then my GP is a very improper car..... o_O

I'm actually watching the Install video of the carb. The guy says to use the fuse panel under the dash. Any other spot can risk burning the coil inside the choke

I wonder how the choke knows where the 12 volts is originating from.....
