I wouldn't exactly call Blazer brakes big brakes. The 11" rotors are only 1/4" larger in radius then the stock 10.5" brakes. However they are a good option for those who want 15" wheels as the stock metric calipers just plain suck. The Blazer calipers are much better and you do get a rotor that's a little bigger.
'98 to '02 Camaro brakes give you 12" rotors and really nice calipers but do require 16" wheels.

I didn't know blazer brake rotors were only 11". If going for bigger brakes, why wouldn't you change to the LS1 12" rotor variety? Roger, you're just being nice.

Issue is flynbye has the cheapest parts with reports of the most lackluster customer service.

No doubt, pretty bad customer service, with pretty much an inability to speak with him, to even find out about parts availability, or when your part will arrive. But I have never heard any reports of him cheating anyone. You'll get your parts when he gets them from his machinists. It's just a piss/poor way to do business, and evidently, he's been conducting business in this manner right from the beginning.

I had to call 2 times, but once i got him on the phone all was good. He did warn me about some hard to find parts that he's having trouble sourcing..... by the way, have you guys seen this:

i haven't read any posts on the forum about this, he also has a kit for the larger c6 z06 rotors..... pretty badass if you need a parking brake.

Yeah, in the catalog ad you listed, it says, call for more info. That's a good one.

I think I'll just keep running my LS1 rear brake configuration.

he's had those on the web site for a couple of years. i don't know of anyone who has used them. the calipers and parking brakes face the same direction. i think they were originally for a s10 blazer 4x4. so if you mount them with the caliper to the rear, the parking brake cables would pull from the rear. if you mount the calipers to the front, the cables would work like ls1 style brakes. but i don't know if the calipers would hit the frame or not.

does anyone have any insight on this one?

anyone else make the correlation between the phrase "fly-by-nite" which means take your money by day, leave under the cover of darkness w/it and the name of this lackluster company??

as it relates to the flynbye product, i'm installing his c6 z51 rear disc brake adapters (with parking brake plates). doesnt sound like anyone here has tried them.

reason why it'll be a while is i have the axle completely torn down (except for the bearing races), media blasted it last weekend. still need to paint and build it before the brakes go on.
