Why would you feel bad about that Jared? A nice set of wheels, tinted windows and a good sounding exhaust would only improve an already nice car. The only problem I see with your idea is that it's gonna be hard to ever make that 4.3 sound really good. What that car needs is a V8.
I beg to differ. 4.3s sound awesome with the right exhaust.

That one looks allot like mine. I have all the windows tinted dark and the 15 in rims. The 4.3 properly tuned makes for a great cruising car. Smooth and not bad on gas for a car this age. I am getting 23-24 on the highway and I doubt the V8 would touch that. Prior owner put the after market exhaust with a flow master on mine and it sounds like the S10 above at idle. When running though it is quiet and smooth. I did keep the original hubcaps so that I can revert back.

Looks great with the Cragars. That is awesome mileage. I know the 4.3 is a great motor. I'm just a V8 man.

Me too, but I really think I would rather have an EFI 4.3 than this danged old carbed 267
Yeah, I'd have a hard time getting excited about a 267 but I guess you could apply the classic hot rodding techniques and make it run decent and be economical. Small headers, small cam, port the heads slightly, 3 angle valve job, dual exhaust and a decent gear like a 3.08 and it might feel pretty good.
