It would be more on the wall thickness of the aluminum tubing used The hardware store stuff I got is thicker than any of the steel or copper nickle stuff I have in the garage. Think it's for HVAC applications. And it sucks for double flaring with the hand flarer.

why are trying to double flare it?

Aluminum tube is a no go for EFI fuel pressure? Thats new. Most factory air compressors use alum line and they are safe for 200psi plus. Am I reading wrong?

I wouldn't hesitate to use aluminum in any fuel line. Thousands of people have been using alum line for decades without issues.
Just saying what Holley and FiTech told me when I was planning the EFI swap. Like I said, it probably mainly depends on the type of line and fittings you use. Who knows, I didn't wanna risk it.

I bought my tube from a local well known speed shop. A friend of mine owns it and he puts in the Holley EFI system in customers cars. He is aware I'm putting in the EZ EFI and suggested to use the Russel fittings to attached the AN 6 hose to it. The tube I am using is rated for 250 lbs

Now I have another question for the masses which might be more opinions but where is everyone putting their in line filters, before or after the pump? I have in the past put them after the pump (& used those glass filters cause glass is class as the saying went) but before the OCD kicked in I planned to put one before the pump & rely on the carbs filter after.

On an engine mounted mechanical pump I run the filter after the pump and on my Regal the filter is billet aluminum with built in AN ends.

Got my AN parts in today from Summit (the fastest I've ever got an order from them, ordered everything last night) and started a to see if my guessing would run it the way I'm picturing it. For one thing it was a good call on Earl's 90 deg 5/8" inverted flare to -6 AN, clears everything at the pump at the tight 90 I wanted. The one thing I didn't get but planned for was a fuel filter. Now I'll have to see about the nickle & dime stiff that will also be needed cause you can't have a project with out them.
