Since nobody has asked yet....status on the Salon 7 day thrash????
I have been block sanding my 55. I am waiting to see if the transmission is repairable. In my honest opinion, it's in the hands of the best. I had it in the floor and could get it to make the noise while rotating a yoke on the tail shaft. It was very loud in the car so it had to be audible to people outside also. I'm hoping Bar50 finds the smoking gun

Today I scotch brited all my interior pieces and cleaned them with Sem Solve twice on a microfiber towel. Those towels seem to pull all the grime out of the grain. I had already washed them with Dawn dish soap a few months ago. I have interior pieces from MANY different cars and they were all the different interior colors that were available through the years  I tack ragged them and shot them with some of my custom mixed gallon of interior paint. I'm not going to do the lower door panels today. I will need to build upper door panels first. This way the lowers won't get scratched by being set somewhere for who knows how long. Tomorrow I plan on installing all the other trim parts, rear seat belts, and back seat. I'm getting ready to spray the steering wheel but need to get it off the car first.

I put on my screen printed decal for my horn button and snapped it on the steering wheel. I guess I don't have the correct horn contact. The one I have is a spade but nothing on the back of the button takes a spade. Anyone know what spring contact I need? Maybe a pic?

That looks sweeeeet!!
