Iceman Crossmember

Hey Steve,its good to hear that you just ordered your crossmember.
Did Rick have any issues shipping to Canada ??
I don't recall any when I ordered mine,but things can change with time.

so, this is what it's like living north of the border, the crossmember itself was $189, with shipping and exchange it went up to $331. Now I just got notified by UPS there are costs to get it over the border, so I just paid another $99.74...🙄

I find that UPS is the worst and most expensive way to ship anything to Canada from the US.
FedEx or USPS are cheaper and theres not much difference in shipping times.

I agree but he only uses UPS cause FexEx isn't available in his rural area and the quote he got from USPS was about $40 more than UPS. I think it has something to do with the size of the box. It was easier for Rick to ship it UPS so I was hoping it would slide through the border. The problem is they don't look at the actual price of the product, they include the currency exchange so I end up paying tax and duty on that amount and not on the actual price of the product.... 😡

I painted my crossmember red but I didn't want anyone to think I copied you so I used a different shade of red...😎

I had one on my old cutlass. It had 2 700r4 and a t-5 never had any issues

I have a G-force cross member and love it, it's more heavy duty than the other ones. Who cares about a few extra pounds when your not racing the car? I put mine in back in 2002 and had both a TH400 and now a TH2004r on it with no problems.

I love my iceman crossmembers. No other crossmember will give you the clearance that Iceman does, especially if you are running 3inch exhaust. Any slight offset in the headers that you use and the pipes Could run right into the crossmember. Not so with the iceman piece. Look around someone may have a second hand one at a cut rate. I highly recommend it.
