IMO this crossmember is such a basic design it could easily be fabricated and hardly seems worth spending a couple hundred on never less another couple hundred to get it.

the design is simple but I do not have the equipment to bend the tubes and to fabricate one off it would not be worth my time to do it. We closed down the race car shop a few years ago so I don't have access to the tools and equipment I use to have. The workmanship on the Iceman is top notched, the welding is perfect, the tubes are all cappped and every detail is nicely done. The crossmember arrives without any paint that can hide any imperfections so you know exactly what you are getting. It bugs me that it costs me extra for the exchange of the dollar, shipping and duties at the border but for some things it's worth it.

Just out of curiosity, what does an Iceman crossmember cost and how much more did shipping north of the border cost?
