Ok, I got my hands on a damn near new Edelbrock Performer EPS for cheap...
One more question...
11 ounces is enough spray paint to fully cover the intake in paint ?
I honestly didn't want to go Samuel L. Jackson lol but god damn...I just painted a TH400 with less than a 1/2 can of VHT cast aluminum and thats a lot larger than a manifold. One can should be more than enough.
As far as the thermostat housing, didnt we go through this on your previous thread ? If I recall didnt you have the correct one already ?
And as far as the gasket issue. BUY THE GASKET. Theres a 90% probability that you'll need to take it all apart all over again if you use the original. You really want to take all that crap apart again when it leaks ?
I dont think theres anyone on this site thats trying to steer you in the wrong direction with their advice. Its obvious that youre trying to stay within a tight budget but theres certain things that you dont skimp on. Just sayin.
And last but not least. Read through some of the threads on here. You'll notice one big thing. No cuss words. Dont go all Samuel L Jackson in your comments. LOL 😉
Yea those are the ones I was instructed to buy before for my Performer RPM...those gaskets will work.if you're painting over the black it will take more to cover but one spray can should be enough.
When you have them in your hands put them up to the manifold and make sure they will seal around the ports.Yea those are the ones I was instructed to buy before for my Performer RPM...
