5/16, I ended up buying a special socket set with a bunch of special bits on Amazon. It was made by Performance Tool. I put a Summit throttle body on my truck. It was 85mm and made for an LS, but bolted right up to the L29 and came with a progressive and linear linkage arm. I didn't want a 90mm piece otherwise I would have gotten a cheap eBay 90mm unit.

So I don't need this adapter? I could send it back and get the summit unit instead. What do you mean by linear/progressive?

I dropped my car off at noon on a thursday with 90% of the parts, all i needed from him were mufflers and tips, which he had in stock. After leaving 2 messages yesterday i get a text from his personal cell saying he barely started on it, and he doesnt work as much these days. This is probably the last weekend of nice weather before it turns into satans front porch, and alternates between frying everybody with 100 degree weather and 100% humidity, and trying to drown us with nearly daily downpours and hurricanes.

Its a secret! I’ll post a video clip when i get it back.

i will say that the doug’s headers came with 3.5” to 2.5” collector reducers, andthe pipes i have are 2.5” mandrel bent stainless. That should be pretty healthy for torque. For now, theres no exhaust crossover pipe, but eventually i’m planning an h-pipe.

Why an Hpipe?
