As far as a "rough ride", there will ofcourse be some brands better than others, but thats just the life of low profile tires.

not calling anyone racist just dont wanna see or hear racist stuff thats all some people are crasy against rims its rediculous i dont care what anyone does to there car as long as they leave me alone. you kno what im sayin its like where do they get all that hate maybe its cause they think "black guy" when they see it and im not even black im mexican.

Now if it was racist this is where someone would jump in and say; "What, 24's? I thought all you dudes ran 195/13's and torched the springs!"
Just messin' with you dude, good luck with your project! 8)

the man said he didn't want to hear any of this racist sh*t. Yet here it is. Not the place for it. Help the man lift his car or gtfo of this thread.....

rac·ism   [rey-siz-uhm]
noun
1.
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2.
a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3.
hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

there is nothing mentioned in the definition of racism that has anything to do with cars.....a negative opinion is not racist when the subject is a car. I hear stuff all the time about how dumb it is to build a car that just goes around in circles. That's not racist, that's just a person who doesn't understand...

i bought a mustang off a white guy and he torched the springs/ had daytons on it lol anyways the guy who said answer the question or gtfo is my kinda dude

Rednecks can be G's too! LOL. More on the ride comfort note, if you got big wheels and thin tires then lots of attention will need to be paid to the rest of the suspension to get er as smooth as possible. New bushing all around should be a big help (probably a bit with clearance as well, as old body bushing tend to sag the car down) quality shocks ect. Shedding pounds where possible never hurts.

He is the site owner...and has to constantly deal with issues escalationing to other issues...After dealing with things of the nature and result and a direct approach as Gp403 has.

since this subject was brought up already..
would i have to do any adjustments to fit 22s on an elco?
ive heard they fit stock, but to me they look like they sit a lil high which is the look i lke and ive seen em sit low on 22s. im wondering does it sit low on 22s with the stock suspension or is that lowered, or does it sit a lil high on 22s on stock. my bad if i confused yall. im prolly just wrong but would really like to know, since im considering 22s. thanks

would putting those big springs mess up my suspension as bad as im hearing or does it take a while to start messin sh*t up. also do you need those arms so you dont get the tops to bend inwards or why did you put them guy with cutlass

also i dont have the rims yet but plan on it, just wanna get everything ready so when i do go buy em i just try em on and if they look good and fit im leaving with em on and not in my trunk lol

ohhhh sh*t you fit six's!! lol how do you do that please tell me dude lol i thought u gotta do a bunch of cuts and spend big money for that id feel like the mans flat out

also is there any way to not have a super stiff ride with lifting it as well, i had a monte on 24s but i bought it like that and the thing felt awful with every tiny bump

any and all knowledge and information on this subject would be greatly appreciated knowledge is power thank you

I fit 6s on my Cutlass w/'72 big block Caprice springs & shocks along w/UMI Performance's double adjustable rear trailing arms. That's it. I had to trim the front wheelwells just a tad to be able to turn w/o the tires catching the fender. Rolling all of the wheelwell lips also gives a little more clearance when tucking the wheels. Regals have the biggest wheelwells of all of the G-bodies, so everything that I had to do you may not have to do. Really, having the wheels and tires mounted and test fitting is the best way to see what you have to do to your car.

wow what great responses guys, most of you prolly have big v8's so with my turbo v6 and 454 springs i should be sittin high just like i want haha. thanks alot again guys and i cant believe thats all it takes to get TWENTY SIX'S on my sh*t, you sir are a gangsta flat out and im saving all winter to get my six's for SHO lol i saw some 26 inch davin floaters on craigs for 2 grand and i had it too at one point and thought id spend twice that to get it lifted for em im pissed lol

now that i remember too, i think my monte had spring spacers on stock springs stretched all the way up maybe thats why it was such a harsh ride

also dude with the cuttie on six's, do your tops of ur tires bend inwards or do the arms help
