1. Don't touch my tools.
2. Don't touch my cars.
3. Don't touch my radio station.
4. Don't touch my fridge.
5. If you hear me yell "$#&@!" more than three or four times in a row, you'd best get outta the way, because something broke and tools are about to start flying.

don't drain it till you know you can fill it

and a aircraft tech told me the following, a cross thread is better than no thread. lol

My personal rules, some of you may have similar trains of thought.

#1 Have some drying substrate at the ready. Be it dirt, grass, leaves, or kitty litter.

#2 Plan on getting everything everywhere.

#3 Have multiple drain pans.

#4 Freakin use jack stands. Face the lever away from you as to not get caught on anything.

#5 When pulling an engine out of a vehicle with a manual transmission, make sure the damn thing can't roll backwards. Or forwards.

#6 DON'T. WASTE. SHOP. TOWELS. My brother is not allowed to touch my stash of shop towels.

#7 Wipe your *ss off before sitting in the car to see if it works.

#8 Know what gear you're in when you fire up said car.

#9 No burnouts within 5 miles if your house if in a suburban/city environment. If in the country, do donuts in the yard. I don't care.

#10 Put the damn tools back. Don't drop em and leave.

Edit: All of these are directed at my little brother.

I just bought into number 3. My turn and stop project keeps expanding plus I inevitably get the truck or tractor or hustler [the mower] involved in some kind of service. NOT ENOUGH DRAIN PANS! Solved for self-xmas gift.

Now, if I could just manage to stop expanding my project . . .

A new rule to that effect might help but I would break it yesterday! 🙄

I have multiple jugs of random fluid and oil too. I gotta get them recycled somewhere. Some of it is 2 years old.

Yup me too. And one was an empty Roundup 2 gallon bottle I used. I was going to spray weeds . . . so you can see where this is going?
