That is quite a difference and major improvement. What are you planning to use in the interior as far as sound deadening/insulation?

Material like dynamat but the cheaper stuff, havent priced anything yet to pick the exact product.
You probably mean Fatmat or something similar. There's also Lizardskin which is a spray on application. You also have to buy their gun. I don't know if a generic undercoat gun will work...probably so.

Man, it looks like you can eat off the bottom of your car. 🙂

Yea I think I have the fatmat in my GN. I looked at the lizard skin awhile back, not sure what I want to do. I defiantly want to use the lightest product but right now as deep as I'm into this it will most likely be that the cheapest option wins.

Thanks its super clean very happy with how it turned out, cant wait to get it back from the body shop so I can get it all back together again.

looking good. I hope to have similar pictures in a few months, lol.

It looks great. Ed.
I plan to do the gauge surround on my GP dash with the carbon fiber vinyl. Any tips or suggestions you can offer?
Did you use the 3M di-noc product?

BTW, I dig those gauges. 8)

BTW, is the color of CF graphite or black?

Its been so long since I bought the CF wrap I can't remember. I believe its the Di-Noc, and I believe its also the black. I'll check into it a little more when I have a chance.

I just cleaned the surface real good with a prep solvent before applying. Working with the wrap you have to remember to keep the pattern the same way if doing multiple sections so it all looks the same. My parts I did were all flat so its pretty easy to work with. You can heat it up to give it more flex.

Thanks Ed!
I suppose it's almost like doing wallpaper in a sense. I guess you pretty much stick it to the surface you're working with, and just trim from there.
I pretty much figured you'd have to keep the pattern in alignment.

Well it should have color on it by the end of the week, cant wait this is a huge leap forward. After that its onto the chassis with this thing!

Needs all areas that were re-worked & seam sealed to be re-primed, quarters blocked, and the body sealed. Then the jabs will be cut in, Friday or Saturday it should have some color. I asked them to lay a little base coat on the quarter panels so I can check the body lines better where we replaced the lower quarter panels.
