Hi, thanks for the info but are you sure on this? I may be missing something but there appears to be plenty of room. You need to put the bolt down through, otherwise you'll have interference with the clam shell.

No worries at all! It's very easy to overlook something and I appreciate any advise.Jinkies, what was I thinking. I recall an issue that I had, perhaps i wasn't using the original clam shells or something.
Looks good - carry on (sorry)
Hey thanks! That's one thing on my to do list is headers. Those hooker 2241 look nice but WOW are they expensive (well, for me anyways). I have been researching what people have been using for a BBC/G body swap and while I hope to be able to find a set I am starting to think I might be forced to go with stock manifolds. I will keep looking and hopefully saving up for a set. Getting stalled on exhaust now sucks as the chassis is in the perfect place for them.Love the project looking great! I've read the whole thread and maybe I forgot if you mentioned what headers you will be using. If you use the hooker 2241 headers you will need to do some slight trimming of the motor mount. It's super easy to do especially the way your car is right now!!!
I think a lot of people on here use the Hooker A body headers #2455 with only a couple clearance issues and with your current mock up it would be easy to address these issues with room to work. I have used the #2241 a couple times and the fit is great but they are pricey and these might be an affordable alternative and I just bought a set to use for when I make my engine test run stand in the near future. Those hooker 2241 look nice but WOW are they expensive (well, for me anyways)
Hey thanks! I wonder if most of the headers brands that fit the cars under the #2245 fitment have pretty much the same bends or if Hooker are the ones to get.I think a lot of people on here use the Hooker A body headers #2455 with only a couple clearance issues and with your current mock up it would be easy to address these issues with room to work.
