So, in other words, you'd much prefer to do another headgasket. 🤣Not jealous.
I did the transmission R&R in my truck, in the driveway, in the dead of winter when I changed the torque converter. It wasn't my favorite. Joe needs a shop and a lift. Good luck with the R&R Joe. If you don't have one, I highly recommend the Harbor Freight transmission jack. I put the 4L85E in my truck essentially one handed with that jack.
That's okay, I need one of those too.So, in other words, you'd much prefer to do another headgasket. 🤣
(Yes, I am in a mood to instigate)

You know, since he likes doing those headgaskets and such so much, maybe you ought to offer to let him come camp out a few days and tear into the Cummins, do it for you. That's okay, I need one of those too.
5000 miles, that's a lot of transmission fluid. You putting me up or do I gotta sleep in the truck?I'll offer up my dry shop, lift, tools, and transmission jack. It's only a 5000 mile round trip. Bring your saws, I've got trees that need droppin'.
