On the passenger side right behind the cooler lines look for a stud with a jam nut coming from the case.
No stud = TH350

Your drawing seems odd. The cut corner should be in the back of the transmission. Square end is up front on a 250/350. The corner cut is on the passenger side rear.

yes, ive ran several th350's without kickdown cables in the past with no issues. kickdowns basically just control shift pointsSo basically I am good to go on driving as far as the kickdown cable not being attached on the th350?
