Why?
I was testing the TV cable adjustment, and let it stretch its legs for a brief minute.
I don't need to drive fast. but when I make chassis or drivetrain adjustments or upgrades, brief tests, yes.
Appreciate the concern...

Definitely more there, but 124.75MPH sustained blasting on the highway tonight. Our highways are definitely not freeway quality.
FUN! -until the air starts getting underneath....
Previous best was 121.52MPH and started to crow-hop.
Without any air dam / GFX, it held surprisingly well tonight.

On the street and driving to the point where you are not in control, hmmmmm, young would be my guess as to why. And never had an 'old man' that thumped him enough, reasoned with him often enough or both.

OMG yes I was totally out of control, scared to death 50 yr old. PFFFT...nothing to prove.
why build something you can't test off the track once in a while?

TV cable adjustment doesn't require 124mph, or 100 mph, or even 70mph to check....

The concern isn't for you. Feel free to get yourself killed in any reckless manner you choose, SO LONG AS IT DOESNT PUT INNOCENT THIRD PARTIES AT RISK.

This is exactly the reason why responsible car clubs, meets, and events get a bad reputation and face community resistance.

You want to test within legal limits on road? OK.

If you need to go 120mph to test? That's what test and tune days are for at tracks.

ClipClop80; Very nice looking LeMans. I personally would like to see more pictures of it and a full description of the engine and drive train. Thanks,

I'm not knocking anybody's sense of responsibility, but I think it's AWESOME! Hell the speed limit here on a LOT of Texas highways, is 85mph, which as you guessed it people drive 100mph on them all day long for an extended period, while talking on the phone, eating, etc.. Why criticize the man, for stretching his car's legs a little. We weren't there... there may have nobody on that stretch of road for miles.
