I narrowed the belt size down to the one they didn't have in stock. I'll get that tomorrow, hopefully.
Got the fuel sender done only to find out that I need a 33-240 as opposed to the 0-90 g-body. Found one on Amazon for $20. Now, I just have to adapt it in.

I put new plugs and wires in last night. Ya don't think it needed them, do ya?:blam:

"Future racecar" is what I like to call it. 66 Cutlass F85- hi comp 330, Saginaw iron 4 speed. I want to do a 385 turbo, Jerico, and mini tub one day.
Only so many dollars and hours to be had...

Here's some fun stuff! I got the right size belt, finally; it's an inch shorter than stock (I think).

And, my Bosch universal 33-240 ohm sender came in, so I promptly tore it apart after checking operation.

Basically, I paid $20 For that brown, flat round resistor board because it fit in place of the old one with a little riggus maximus.

Today, I found out that the PCM fuel level input is 5V reference, thus requiring a low reference ground instead of chassis ground. I drilled a hole in the grommet to pass the additional wire. I'll put them in a plug once it's bench tested.
It works, though, and didn't take long to do!

NICE!!
