So, it is definitely quieter than before. Not quite what I was looking for, but an improvement nonetheless. The drone seems to be greatly reduced, although my ears are all clogged up from allergies. The ear problem seemed to make me more sensitive and that's not as bad, so good stuff all around.
Also, had some homeboy try me in a newer Hyundai sedan. It was wet, so I eased off the light. then I see this fool try and roll around me. I lower the loud pedal, and held a car length on him up to about 115. If it was dry and from a dig, it would have been no contest. Street dominance continues....

Like I said my 88 fwd Delta 88 with a glass pack was ungodly loud, went back to the stock muffler. What a POS that car was. What muffler are you running?

It's my neighbor's garage. A coworker's father is/was the service manager at a local Honda dealer, and when they remodeled the garage, they were selling off the old lifts. He got it for $675; my ceiling wasn't tall enough for one. :( But, he lets me use it pretty much whenever I want.

It's the Jones 3" as a resonator, then into a 2.5" Borla Pro XS; 2.5" mandrel bent pipe out the back behind the wheel with a 3" Gibson tip (probably creates a megaphone effect, may be the next experiment).

Although I don’t have one of my own, having one at the shop where I rent a space really makes a difference when you need it!

Recently, things just hadn't seemed right, and I couldn't put my finger on it. Then, yesterday, I was messing with the guy at work in the Q50S, and it wouldn't make the 3/4 shift under full throttle. I had a puckering moment as the revs hung at 6500, wouldn't come down, and wouldn't shift. I got it home and checked the fluid- dry as a bone. I put a half quart in, let it drain, checked it- still dry..... I put another half quart in, let it drain, checked it- started to show on the ball at the end.... I put a half quart in, let it drain, checked it- now, we're good. So, I lost 1 1/2 quarts over 32,000 miles <mental note: check trans fluid along with fuel filter during oil changes, dummy!> I can't remember if I put a rear seal in it and I run it pretty hard, so I'm not gonna sweat it. I just need to keep a more watchful eye. I'm on the bi-polar roller coaster, now that it's It's more or less finished, I'm kinda bored with it, I want to build another car, I'm broke, I need to get out of debt, it's a great commuter, it rides so good, I want new wheels, I'm going to need tires, I want to lower it.......yada, yada, yada
