Our 79 Monte Carlo- Pro Touring Project

Here are a few pictures of the Viking front coil over kit going on the car. The Viking kits (which we sell) come with two double adjustable shocks and two springs with spring rate choice, we went with 550lb springs.

The coil over kit is a direct bolt on. We recommend aftermarket arms for strength but you can also use factory arms (we recommend reinforcing the a-arm pocket if you do)

very nice, I wish we could run adjustables like those in our sportsman...

what ball joints are you running on the lower arm?....I found me some Howe inserts to use screw in ball joints that gives me the option of using howe rebuildable, different length studs and low friction ball joints. I have the Allstar low friction joint in the pictures

This thread really delivers! 😀

Thank you Ramey and Ryan for sharing. This is definitely an area I hope to improve on my car at some point in the future.

Something about this car just makes me smile. Are those vinyls?

That thing looks so bad *ss in the 2nd to last pic.

Thanks guys! Most people seem to like it. It is meant to be an ugly duckling... some don't understand that.

Yes those are vinyl stickers. We may add another one on the side of the car.

We have plenty more picture of the Green Machine on the autox course, I will post them soon!
