We have some new American Racing headers in 1-7/8". The plan is to spin the GM to 8000 rpm.
Narrowing the rear or do you have a novel way to keep the fender off of these?
we had a Leitch engine in one of our sportsman cars and that could rev 8000 all day long. There was alot of $$$ and work put into the heads and valve train

I have a question about your frame notch. Are you going to alter the wheel well? Mini tub, fabricate, or big hammer? I have the same car and can not see gaining any thing from the frame notch with out altercation of the wheel well.
