If so, same sh*t - different can. As long as it has good chemical/solvent resistance. However, nothing really resists conventional brake fluid.

Texas , it was nasty Bro , had to scrape alot of built up grease out of it. But was worth the 10.00 in quarters. Instead of $200.00 plus to replace. Was my day off , peaceful though.

I think the clear is the way to go also. That bellhousing looks good cleaned up.

I would paint it. You put a lot of effort into it and it looks nice. But I think it looks like it belongs in a low rider now.

If it were me, and I was going to clear it, I would see if I could find a low luster clear engine paint.

Thanks for the info! I'm assuming that it's a quality and "tried" product, i.e., won't flake and peel...
