Paint or clear coat bell housing . Make up my mind please .

Texas , it was nasty Bro , had to scrape alot of built up grease out of it. But was worth the 10.00 in quarters. Instead of $200.00 plus to replace. Was my day off , peaceful though.
Damn, I'm glad I signed up to the G-Body forum . Always just done things on my own , which I still do . But really nice to have some input . This is great !
 
I would paint it. You put a lot of effort into it and it looks nice. But I think it looks like it belongs in a low rider now.
 
If you were to "clear" it, what would you use? I'm considering something similar. What about POR-15 and then "clearing" it?
 
If it were me, and I was going to clear it, I would see if I could find a low luster clear engine paint.

Thanks for the info! I'm assuming that it's a quality and "tried" product, i.e., won't flake and peel...
