So I have two intake manifolds I got with the engines to use for the build. One is a 5.3L from a 2010 engine so it's identical to the TBSS intake. Great choice. Other is from a 2005 6.0L. Not bad but nothing special. Since I found the Camaro p/s pump, I bought a Camaro balancer, ill get a matching water pump, and buy the ICT bracket to do a passenger side mount alternator. It will keep everything located basically where they are on a G body. But...... The belt will interfere with the throttle body supposedly so I've been poling around for other intakes, that would #1 work, and #2, look a little better than the truck intakes. Stumbled across this LS6 intake and pounced since the price was reasonable. Well reasonable as far as these go :/ Ever since Sloppy Mechanics, and now Richard Holdener, the price has easily doubled on these intakes 😯 I figured the worse that would happen is I would sell it and actually make some $.
So long story short it just showed via the big brown truck and I had to run out and toss the heads and intake on to see what it would look like. 🤣
