BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Ok I'm stumped. What is this connector for? It's not listed in the installation manual and I can find anything that isn't hooked up...

The orange wire looks like it is labelled A26. A26 on the 24x/1x LS1 harness is a 5volt. Can you see the other wire numbers? And what part number is your Term X?

Looks like maybe it's for a relay? But why no mention of it at all any where? And for what relay? Fuel pump and fans are turned on elsewhere.... other thing is not all of the wire colors match.

The connector isn't even shown on the wiring diagram. WTH?

Can you see the remaining number on the wires? If the orange wire is labelled for A26, then it's not for the fuel pump.

There should be an open 'tap' in the harness somewhere - mine has it. Basically a spot for switch 12v, sensor ground, chassis ground and 5 volt. The connector in the 1st picture you attached is the 8 pin additional in's and out's connector, correct? They are located together in the harness I believe.

Yes the 8 pin harness is in the back ground of the first pic and these are very close to each other. But why isn't it on the wiring diagram or even mentioned in the manual?

That's the power tap - it's coming back to me. The harnesses I attached above plug into it.
I just looked through my manual that came with mine and it's not in there either. I stole my fuel pump wire from that to run the relays in the rear. You should have that along with additional in/out plug inside the car if they aren't there presently IMO. But they can be left outside as well - your decision.

Thank you! Niw that I know what it is,, I don't need it, but it kind of concerns me hanging out in the engine bay open. Wish I could get a plug, for the plug to block it off.

You can. It's a Metripack connector I believe. You can drop probably $30 and get it from Holley or spend a couple of minutes on google and buy one from Amazon $4. If you ask Happel, I'm sure he'll respond with the connector for it.
